The Christmas season is a time of celebration and festive cheer, but for many it’s also a time of remembrance for friends and family no longer with us.
Recognising both scenarios, the Stroke Association asked us to develop a Christmas campaign to thank their supporters, specifically those who have lost someone to stroke, and continue to make a difference in the fight against stroke.
We created a Christmas card that included a Stroke Association Remembrance Snowflake decoration, where the centre-piece could be replaced with a photo of their loved one, ready to hang on their Christmas tree for years to come.
Alongside this mailing we also created images for a Facebook campaign, giving more Stroke Association supporters the opportunity to request a Remembrance Snowflake decoration.
The primary objective was to thank supporters and build stronger relationships, but as it’s the season of giving and receiving, Stroke Association are also monitoring any effect on donations.
We’re awaiting full campaign results but are delighted to hear that all 500 decorations ear-marked for the Facebook test campaign were requested within 30 hours!
