Raising the roof in branding

We were thrilled when Klober, Europe’s leading roofing brand got in touch and asked us to help them refresh their brand guidelines. With such a bold logo and strong company vision the time was right to modernise the overall brand identity to create impact, consistency and differentiation. We designed a set of brand guidelines as a framework for all marketing activity, with enough flex and opportunity to be dynamic and continuously creative.

When I first joined the Klober business, I knew we needed to bring on an agency that could help breathe life back into the brand. The result has been brilliant and the Yebo team have made it look easy. Thanks to Yebo, we now have a set of brand guidelines that represent the direction of our brand and have been the foundations of all of our marketing collateral you see today.

Consistently creative

Design principles, colours and graphic assets were created with a multi-channel marketing strategy in mind, to achieve a strong visual identity off and online. We curated a diverse colour palette to complement the primary red and black Klober colours, and to help signpost roofing product categories to make customer journeys easier.

Since developing the Klober brand guidelines they have been tested to the max including product and packaging strategies, POS, website assets and the biggest project of all, the full product catalogue. And the results…bold, impactful and professional designs that leave no doubt who the experts in roofing are.

Celebrating 60 years of roofing excellence

Every decade in business is a milestone deserving recognition and celebration. As Klober entered its 60th year we were asked to create an anniversary logo that could be used as a secondary logo on all marketing.

Working with the recently created brand guidelines we designed a logo that combined the Klober brand with 60 years, and a message of what each of those years represented – quality and innovation in roofing.

The chosen concept oozed ‘Kloberness’, with big numbers shouting sixty years against the Klober red backdrop. Anniversaries such as this are rare and an ideal opportunity to remind customers of a company’s success and the establishment of a brand that is trusted and respected  by the roofing industry

And the celebrations continue…

A year on, the question was asked, “what happens to the 60 year logo now?” The opportunity to celebrate the heritage and success of Klober exists every day, not just on the turn of a decade, so the anniversary logo was evolved to carry a ‘Quality & Innovation since 1960’ message, for all the markets Klober operates in.

The challenge set to Yebo was a logo that celebrated our legacy, whilst encompassing our new modern brand look. We were thrilled with the outcome and have been able to adapt both logos to work in multiple countries and languages across Europe.
