Yebo’s Christmas story 2024

Yebo celebrates the love of Christmas!

You may have noticed that this year’s Yebo Christmas campaign is a twist on the iconic LOVE image by American artist Robert Indiana, a timeless masterpiece that bridges art and emotion. Created in 1964 as a personal card to his friends in the art world, Indiana’s simple yet powerful design quickly became a cultural phenomenon.

Then in 1965, just like us,  the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) recognised the magnetic charm of Indiana’s creation and used it for their annual Christmas card in several colour variations – a vibrant red, blue, and green. It wasn’t just a card, it was a declaration of love shared during the most heartwarming season of the year.

At Yebo, inspired by Indiana’s work, we’ve crafted our own Christmas image replacing LOVE with YEBO, using four Christmas items to help define the negative spaces in the letters – can you spot them? This is how Yebo celebrates the love of Christmas!

Just as Indiana’s LOVE captured hearts around the world, we hope our interpretation spreads a little extra holiday magic for this year.
