David Smith Associates formed in 1996, growing in size and reputation to become the leading civil and structural engineering business it is today. In an increasingly competitive market, they needed to refresh their brand identity to help them stand out and better reflect their expertise.

The solution

The logo is a clear evolution from the ancient roman structure to a more modern and iconic building shape. Adopting a new trading name of ‘DSA’, how David Smith Associates is always referred to anyway, the roof line represents structural engineering services, and the underlining foundation reflects civil engineering, their ground services. Keeping a similar green colour, but now partnered with a deep blue, presents a professional and calm impression.

The results

A fresh and professional new look has given DSA a new lease of life, the brand identity needed to achieve their future strategies and goals. With an updated digital presence, they have been able to drive online traffic to their new website and attract an increased volume of leads which they are only too happy to follow up on!
