Community groups wouldn’t exist or be able to do all the wonderful charity work they do without the support of others. Having played in the Wellingborough Saxons Vets team, our very own Creative Director James was pleased to design a recent event programme, despite having hung up his boots to coach the juniors instead!
Wellingborough Saxons is a great example of the difference grass roots football can make to people’s lives. The club has the most amazing bunch of volunteers who give up a lot of their spare time to run football training sessions, matches and to raise money for charity. I was proud to play for them and just as proud to continue to support them by designing their anniversary matchday programmes.

Wellingborough Saxons FC were planning a huge 50th Anniversary celebration and needed a souvenir matchday programme to suitably mark the event and share details of the celebrations.
Having designed the team badge and the 40th and 45th anniversary programmes, it was important for James that the promotional material for the 50th anniversary was even more special!
Designing the inside pages to shout about all the amazing work the Saxons do, James turned his attention to creating a striking black and gold front cover which would celebrate this incredible milestone in style.
Working closely with the printer to find the best solution for a programme that would stand up to a day pitch-side as well as being kept as a souvenir for future generations to enjoy, a heavier paper stock was chosen for the cover and the latest gold foiling and anti-scuff matt laminate techniques were used to produce the perfect programme.
Congratulations to everyone at Wellingborough Saxons FC on this amazing achievement! We look forward to supporting you on your 60th birthday and beyond!
